Quarantine Diaries: AMAZING PANCAKE RECIPE

PANCAKES: 

As the name suggests, cakes made on a frying pan that turn out to be so delicious. Pancakes make one of the tastiest breakfasts, or brunches. They can be served with variations like with cream, with berries and chocolates. So let's get into the recipe:


Ingredients: 


  • 1/2 cup milk.
  • 2.5 cup tbsp sugar.
  • 1 tsp baking powder.
  • 1/4th tsp vanilla essence.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 2 tbsp melted butter/oil.
  • 3/4th cup all purpose flour..

Method:


  1. Separate the egg whites and egg yolks.
  2. In a bowl, mix the egg yolks, milk and melted butter. Beat the batter with a whisk.
  3. In a separate bowl sieve the flour and add the baking powder in it.
  4. After this add the flour+baking powder in the batter and fold slowly with a spatula until a smooth batter is formed.
  5. Now separately in another bowl, take the egg whites and start beating will help of an egg beater, slowly start adding the sugar while beating until the mixture turns stiff and foamy, also the colour gets white.
  6. Now, add this egg whites mixture in the batter prepared earlier, keep folding with help of spatula.
  7. Once the batter is smooth enough, let it rest for 20 minutes.
  8. Next in a non-stick pan, add a tsp of oil and add the batter in the centre with help of a large spoon.
  9. let it cook for about 3 minutes on each side on a very low flame until light golden, once the pancake get bubbly turn side.
  10. Pile the pancakes one on another, and serve with cream and fruits.
