Three Ingredient Mango Ice cream Recipe

Mango Ice Cream:

As the season of mangoes have just approached, here i share my easy yet delicious recipe to make mango ice cream. I make it a lot in summers and my family enjoys it a lot. It is very easy if you carefully follow all the steps and tips. So lets get started.


 Ingredients:

  • Mangoes 1 kg(after discarding the seed they would be roughly 750 gm).
  • 2 packs of whipping cream (each of 200 gm makes a total of 400 gm).
  • condensed milk 200 gm.

Method:

  1. Take 1 kg of mangoes, wash them thoroughly, peel and discard the seeds.
  2. Cut the mangoes into small pieces.
  3. Blend the mangoes in a juicer/blender until smooth puree is obtained.
  4. Next, in a large bowl add the whipping cream and whip it with help of an egg beater until very smooth and double the size. 
  5. You need to patiently whip the cream as it is the most important step for making a creamy ice cream.
  6. Once the cream has whipped and attained a creamy foamy texture, add in the condensed milk and beat it a little more.
  7. Next, add in the mango puree and fold it well with help of a spatula. Do leave some puree for later use to decorate the ice cream from the top.
  8. Now again blend for roughly 7 more minutes until the creamy mango mixture is smooth enough.
  9. Next take a plastic container and pour in the mango cream mixture, now with help of a table spoon pour in the left over puree and with help of a tooth pick make design on the top. Any pattern you like.
  10. Next cover the plastic container with cling film first, and tape the cling film to the bottom of the container with help of a tape.
  11. Then cover with lid, cling film is used to make the container air tight so that no ice crystals are made in the ice cream. Be very careful during this step. Take a container that is air tight.
  12. Next freeze the ice cream for about 8 hours.
  13. For  serving, make scoops by heating the scoop spoon in warm water. It helps the scoops to be made easily in case the ice cream is frozen hard.
  14. Serve right after making scoops.
  15. And yummy mango ice cream is done.

  1. MA SHA ALLAH yummy! Will try it once good quality mangoes are available in the market. A week before, we also made icecream by simply using coco powder, condensed milk and a few more ingredients; it turned out to be delightful than expectations. Can share the recipe with you (although maybe a culinarian like you already knows it) if you are willing.
