Recipe for Chocolate Muffins:
Ingredients:
Dry Ingredients:
- 8 tbsp all purpose flour.
- 8 tbsp ground sugar.
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp coco powder.
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp nutella (optional)
- 1 egg
- 2 drops of vanilla essence.
- 6-7 tbsp milk.
- 4 tbsp oil.
Method:
- Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree centigrade for 20 minutes.
- Mix all the dry ingredients well inside a bowl with help of a fork.
- Then add the milk, oil, egg, vanilla essence and nutella into it.
- Now whisk with help of an egg beater or manual whisk.
- I usually don't use an egg beater for such a quick recipe.
- Keep whisking until the batter is smooth and keep the consistency not very thick (because thick batter can cause the muffins to be hard).
- Also this is a quick and easy recipe and does not require whisking of egg whites separately.
- When the batter is done, pour it in a muffin tray after greasing the muffin tray with butter or you can use muffin cases that are made of butter paper.
- Place the muffin tray in the oven and let it bake for 20-25 minutes.
- You can check whether the muffins are done by inserting a tooth pick inside the muffin, if the tooth pick comes out clean means that the muffins are done.
- Serve with tea or coffee.
- You may ice the muffins the way you like.
- Done.
