Quarantine Diaries: "Dalgona Coffee Craze"

Dalgona Coffee:


Dalgona Coffee is south korean originated coffee. It is made by mixing equal proportions of instant coffee, sugar and hot water until a creamy frothy base is made, and finally adding it to warm or cold milk. The coffee has created a hype during quarantine, everyone seems to be loving it. People have taken it to social media platforms, where they show their skills of making and clicking the amazing coffee. Here i'll be sharing an easy and quick recipe to make it.

Ingredients:


  • 2 tbsp instant coffee.
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar.
  • 2 tbsp warm milk.
  • 1 cup of cold/warm milk (according to choice).

Method:



  1. In a bowl add the instant coffee, sugar and 2 tbsp of warm milk and blend it well with help of a manual whisk or with an egg beater, until a creamy light brown coloured mixture is obtained.
  2. Next according to your choice you may take hot or cold cup of milk, I personally love cold coffee so in a glass take milk that is filled to about 1/3rd of the glass. 
  3. Next pour the coffee cream mixture into the glass so that it fills to the brim of the glass to give it the classic 'Dalgona Coffee' look.
  4. Serve and do take pictures and share.
